#Climate change is here and I won’t dispute the findings. However, I will dispute the logic around actions that seem doomed.
As per previous posts, there is this hell bent push to have markets adjust by offering climate #finance that flows through regular banking principles.
Hence, there are loans and grants set up for parties to apply for and the process seeks to have applicants satisfy some form of financial return.
The real metric that would give us relief is one based only on impact. Hear me out, would it be better to have a system that lowers see levels and carbon emissions or one that gives financial returns?
Quite frankly if more climate funds were real eased to tackle desalination and raising sea barriers I personally believe we would see changes and relief.
