Prior to the #Covid19 #pandemic, there were vibrant calls for densification of Namibia’s urban environments.
The various reasons given ranged from lack of services land to the high cost of servicing green field areas existing in those urban surroundings.
What has happened now during the pandemic is that strategies such as social distancing now becomes a problem along with the limited services such as water and sanitation.
Can we now having spent huge sums of emergency funds to provide services have a look at how we approach densification in the future?
